Mathematica: Graphics ( Self paced) Prerequisites
Tue 2 Mar 2010
Description
This course is part of the Scientific Computing series.
Mathematica is a software package for numerical computation, symbolic manipulation and the production of graphics from mathematical functions and data. This course examines Mathematica's graphical capabilities in more detail than the "Mathematica: Basics" course.
Prerequisites
- Knowledge of matrix algebra and simple calculus is assumed.
- Prior attendance at the "Mathematica: Basics" course or equivalent experience
- Those attending should be able to use a plain text editor (e.g. emacs, gedit, pico, vi) on a Unix system as might be obtained from the Emacs or Vi introductory courses.
