Description

This face to face course is designed for staff who are involved in the new iProcurement process only.

iProcurement, or iProc for short, is an internet way of ordering goods and services linked to an electronic Marketplace that contains hundreds and thousands of products. iProcurement is a new application accessed via the Cambridge University Finance System (CUFS). This course is also available on-line.

Target audience

All members of staff in a purchasing role

Prerequisites

Please ensure that you advise Finance Training of the following information when you book your place on the course:

  • Your requisitioner approval limit (if usnure please speak with your departments account office/PI)
  • Your preferred first name

Finance Training must have this information at least two working days prior to your attendance on the course.

Objectives

During the face to face standard course you will :

  • Set up system defaults
  • Create Requisitions via the Marketplace and Non-Catalogue
  • Approve your own requisitions (if within buying limit)
  • Forward your requisitions for approval (if outside buying limit)
  • Query and extract basic information from the system
  • Make amendments
Format

Mixture of presentations, demonstrations and individual practical exercises to consolidate learning.
