FileMaker Pro (Database Package): Introduction

Description

This introductory course covers the basic concepts of the relational database package Filemaker Pro. Each participant will design a small database.

Presentations, demonstrations and practicals.

System requirements

FileMaker Pro v. 8.5 on PWF Macintosh

Notes

Practical work will normally be done on Macintoshes but the course will be useful to those using FileMaker under Windows.
Basic computing skills are assumed. There are self-taught courses on FileMaker Pro, including one covering relational databases and one on publishing on the Web.
