This is a simple demonstration of the installation of a reasonably modern Linux distribution (currently OpenSuSE 10.3) on a standard, low end PC. There is an opportunity for extensive questions and answers during the software installation phase.
This is a Mac Pro Video tutorial on Mac OS. The DVD can be used on both Macs (although advertised as being usable under Windows, we have had no success in doing so).
Windows laptop owners are STRONGLY advised to attend this practical workshop which offers an opportunity for them to put into operation practical security measures to keep their PC safe & secure, with demonstrators present to assist if needed.

This is vital for PCs which are connected to the Internet (via broadband, Ethernet or even dialup). Every virus outbreak results in many PCs being successfully attacked because they are inadequately protected: avoid it happening to you!
